FEHA CO2 Lasers of the SM Series are diffusion cooled, DC excited gas lasers that are operating with high reliability, highest beam quality and long life time. The compact modular design makes a easy integration in industrial laser machines possible. The specification of the SM series in E, MC and F allows to select the most economical laser for several applications. The lasers are operating with the for CO2 Lasers typical wavelength of 10.6µm.     The E series is preferred used for non-metallic materials (as glass, quartz glass, artificial materials).     The MC series has fundamental advantages for working on metallic materials (as steel, aluminium, brass, copper).   The F series gives the possibility to reduce the heat influence areas on sensitive materials (as glass, quartz glass, artificial materials) appreciable.     An expansion of the application field of the SM CO2 Lasers enables the using of additional wavelength areas. The new SMX-series is standing for that.
